Emily Gasoi

Emily Gasoi is a graduate of the Shady Hill/Lesley College joint teacher-training program with a masters in elementary education. She taught 4th grade for two years in a private school in Watertown, MA, but maintained a strong interest in urban school improvement. In 1997, she seized the opportunity to work with Deborah Meier and a small team of educators to co-found Mission Hill, a K-8 pilot school in Boston, MA where she taught 2/3 grade for six years. She is currently a second year Ed.D. student in the Educational Leadership program at Penn-GSE. Emily can be contacted at gasoi@dolphin.upenn.edu.
