Jeanne Peloso

Jeanne Peloso, Ph.D., is an assistant professor in the Department of Early Childhood and Childhood Education at Lehman College , The City University of New York.  Dr. Peloso coordinates the Graduate Program in Childhood Education that includes traditional graduate students seeking certification, the New York City Teaching Fellows and Teach for America candidates.  She teaches Methods of Teaching Science to undergraduate and graduate pre-service teaching candidates.  Her research interests center on integrating instructional methods that encourage embodied learning through aesthetic education and inquiry-based approaches.
