Sigal Ben-Porath

Sigal Ben-Porath received her PhD in philosophy from Tel-Aviv University.  She was a post-doctoral fellow at Princeton University's Center for Human Values, and currently teaches at the University of Pennsylvania's Graduate School of Education. Her research focuses on the intersection between political philosophy and education. She published articles on the regulation of intimacy, on civic education in wartime, and on just relations between adults and children. Her book Citizenship under Fire: Democratic Education in Times of Conflict was published in 2006 by Princeton University Press.  She can be reached at sigalbp@gse.upenn.edu.
