Franciska Coleman

Franciska Coleman is a Ph.D. candidate and Fountaine Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education. She received her Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas A&M University in 2002. Her current research interests center upon the utility of a critical literacy curriculum built around legal texts (primarily civil rights supreme court cases) in fostering agency and critical consciousness among African American male youth.
