Karen Benita Reyes

Karen Benita Reyes grew up in Chicago and was moved to activism in part by witnessing the long tradition and trajectory of racism in her city and its schools. She is an educator and anti-prison activist. She is also a PhD candidate in Urban Educational Policy Studies at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
