Rubin Beth C. Rubin is Assistant Professor of Educational Theory, Policy, and Administration at Rutgers University. Her research interests center on issues of equity and school reform, researching student perspectives, and critical pedagogy in the social studies. She is co-editor of Critical voices in school reform: Students living through change (with E. Silva, forthcoming). She would like
