Vinay Harpalani
Vinay Harpalani is a Ph.D. candidate in Interdisciplinary Studies
in Human Development (ISHD) at the University of Pennsylvania Graduate
School of Education, and a Master of Bioethics candidate in the College
of General Studies at Penn. He is also a Research Apprentice at the
Center for Health, Achievement, Neighborhood, Growth, and Ethnic Studies
(CHANGES) and the W.E.B. Du Bois Collective Research Institute.
Harpalani serves as a Graduate Associate in the W.E.B. DuBois College House and is the director of the Politics and Cultural Pluralism residential program. His interests center around issues of race and ethnicity in various contexts; this includes racial identity, racial inequities in education and health care, and different uses of race/ethnicity in research and public policy.
